Takedown Policy

Last updated: March 26, 2026

Overview

JourneyAPI is an independent API integration platform. We respect intellectual property rights and take all legitimate complaints seriously. This page explains how trademark holders, copyright owners, and other rights holders can submit takedown or dispute requests, and how we handle them.

All takedown requests are reviewed and responded to promptly. For urgent matters, please clearly mark your subject line URGENT.

1. Trademark & Brand Name Complaints

JourneyAPI references certain AI model names (e.g., “Midjourney,” “DALL-E,” “Stable Diffusion,” “Flux,” “Kling,” and others) solely for nominative descriptive purposes — to identify the upstream models accessible through our API. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any of these companies or their products.

If you are a trademark owner and believe our use of your mark exceeds nominative fair use or is otherwise improper, please contact us at [email protected] with:

  • Your name, company, and contact information.
  • The trademark(s) at issue and your registration details (if applicable).
  • The specific URL(s) or content you believe infringes your mark.
  • An explanation of how the use exceeds fair use or causes consumer confusion.
  • A statement that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf.

We will review your request and respond within 5 business days.

2. Copyright Infringement (DMCA-Style Notice)

If you believe content on our platform or generated through our service infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice. To be actionable, your notice must include:

  1. Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  2. A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  3. The URL or specific location of the allegedly infringing content.
  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
  6. Your electronic or physical signature.

Send your notice to: [email protected]

We will acknowledge receipt within 2 business days and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the content, notifying the account holder, or both.

Note on AI-generated content: JourneyAPI is a conduit — we transmit prompts to upstream AI model providers and return their outputs. We do not generate content ourselves. For complaints about the underlying model's outputs, you may also need to contact the relevant AI model provider directly.

3. Counter-Notice

If you believe content was removed in error or that you have the right to use the material, you may submit a counter-notice to [email protected] with:

  • Your name, address, and contact information.
  • Identification of the content that was removed and its former location.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your consent to the jurisdiction of courts in Australia or the jurisdiction in which you reside.
  • Your electronic or physical signature.

We will review counter-notices and respond within 10 business days.

4. Privacy & Defamation Complaints

If you believe content generated through JourneyAPI violates your privacy rights, constitutes defamation, or reveals personal information without consent, please contact us at [email protected]. Include:

  • Your contact information.
  • A description of the content at issue and why you believe it violates your rights.
  • The URL or location of the content (if accessible).

5. Law Enforcement & Legal Process

JourneyAPI cooperates with law enforcement agencies and responds to valid legal process including subpoenas, court orders, and emergency disclosure requests. Law enforcement agencies may contact us at [email protected]. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.

6. Repeat Infringers

JourneyAPI maintains a policy of terminating accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights in appropriate circumstances.
